Colts getting lucky

Colts lose to jags to get swept by a divisional opponent for first time in 10 years, secure #1 pick. Manning? Luck? Both? Trade?

Crash Landing

Jets have many issues this offseason,
Sanchez, Holmes, O-Line, Defensve tackling, Safety, Runningback. Greene not every down back, bring back LT? pick up another vet? Fire Schotty? Hire Norv? Move to Alaska?

1,000 yards

Matt Flynn sets packers passing record with 480 yards passing and 6 td’s he will be the hottest free agent this offseason
Stafford passes for 520 yards and 5 td’s. Stafford goes over 5,000 yards on the season. YET NOT IN PRO-BOWL!
1,000 yards passing combined between the 2 qb’s
Calvin Johnson 11 catches, 244 yards!  Lions should be a good playoff team, capable of beating anybody in the NFC except Packers and Saints.

Matt Flynn

Does his success this week undermine how ‘elite’ Arron Rodgers is?
Do the Packers let him walk for free? Do they franchise him? If franchised, the Packers would receive 2 1st round picks for him via trade. If nobody is willing to trade, he will receive the average of the top 5 QB salaries in the league, paying him 8 million more than Aaron Rodgers. Do they take that gamble or let him walk, essentially grooming somebody else’s QB for free.

Un-Patriotic moves

Pats were down 21-0 in the second. Went on to score 49 straight unanswered points. Why did Brady play the entire game? He is hurt and had a 3 score lead in the 4th. Hoyer came in super late and threw 1 pass. Shouldn’t you give him more reps just in case Brady gets hurt in the playoffs and you need your backup? Makes no sense.

Jared Allen

Finishes season with 22 sacks, .5 shy of Strahans 22.5* although Strahan got his last sack on a Favre give up. Allen is the only shining star on a pitiful defense.

9ers

Only rushing TD’s allowed by 9ers all season were Marshawn Lynch last week, and Kellen Clemens this week! In the NFC playoffs, they face all passing teams, is this a recipe for disaster for the 9ers making a run?

Back up the Truck

Bengals and Broncos both lose but back into the playoffs anyway. Both teams were on my list of worst in nfl in august, now both in playoffs. Non-deserving!
Rookie of the year: Dalton or Newton?  all signs point to newton, had best individual season a rookie ever had, beat peyton manning, but had a 6-10 record. Dalton had a decent year, but 9-7 record and playoff birth.

Brees set NFL single season records for pass yards (5476), comp (468), comp % (71.2%), 300-yard games (13) & consecutive 300-yard games (7) HE SHOULD BE MVP! NOT RODGERS

Firings

Colts GM, not Caldwell yet.

Bears fire Jerry Angelo, not Lovie Smith, Mike Martz ‘resigned’ as OC

Rams fire Spags and G.M. Spags won 10 games in 3 years. Had plenty of high end picks, same as Lions. Massive injuries in place. Josh McDaniels staying put?
